Dunn Carney real estate lawyer and managing partner Jon Bennett has been elected to his third three-year term on the board for Habitat for Humanity Portland Metro/East. He was first elected to the board in 2014.
Habitat for Humanity Portland/Metro East is part of a global nonprofit housing organization that works in communities across the U.S. It has built and repaired homes in partnership with over 1,700 people in the Portland Metro region.
Jon has more than 30 years of experience at Dunn Carney, representing business and real estate clients on matters ranging from daily operations to significant transactions and disputes. As managing partner, he was instrumental in establishing the firm’s annual Day of Caring, an opportunity for all staff and attorneys to provide a half-day of community service as a team. Habitat for Humanity is among the organizations the firm serves.
