Agriculture, Food & Natural Resources
Agriculture is a way of life for many Dunn Carney clients
Our Ag Team attorneys understand and value the relationship between land, community and family and are proud to serve this industry as trusted advisors who recognize that agribusiness is often about much more than the business at hand.
From offices in Portland and Salem, we work with farmers, ranchers, dairies, timberland owners and associated industries to help clients resolve issues in areas ranging from water rights, property disputes and employment regulations to liens, business agreements, land use applications and succession planning.
By providing clients with alternatives they understand, we give them the ability to choose the solution that best helps them meet their goals.
TIM BERNASEK
PARTNER
We work with clients to identify issues, pursue opportunities, avoid risk and protect property and rights. Our experience in the industry and close relationships with clients and industry leaders enable us to identify issues and recommend corrective measures early, so clients can avoid risk as they pursue their goals.
Our Ag Team also works with clients to help them understand the legal issues that affect their business. Annually we host regional agricultural seminars — the Annual Dunn Carney Ag Summit, held in January in Salem, and the Eastern Oregon Ag Summit, held in February in Pendleton. Both are half-day conferences for firm clients and friends, where industry leaders and Ag Team members share information about agricultural legal trends and best practices.
