Taylor M. Jacobs
Associate Attorney
Taylor graduated from the University of Oregon School of Law in May 2024, where he was a Wayne Morse Scholar. While in law school, Taylor served as the Moot Court Board Vice President and Recruitment Director. He also represented the university’s mock trial team in national competitions. His graduation research paper studied the US Department of Agriculture and the potential for subsidized regional food hubs as a way of supporting regenerative agricultural in rural areas, written under the advisement of Michael Fakhri, the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Right to Food. Taylor worked as law clerk for the Oregon Department of Justice’s civil litigation division and was a summer associate at Dunn Carney in 2023.
Prior to law school, Taylor grew up in Eastern Oregon and studied liberal arts at Willamette University, where he graduated in 2017. Between undergrad and law school, Taylor spent time in Oregon politics working in the state legislature, on congressional races, and in political consulting. In the legislature, he worked for the chair of House Education Committee during the passage of the 2019 Student Success Act. While in consulting, he worked on projects ranging from local and national races to public relations for large-scale construction and renewable energy clients in the metro-area as well as across the state.
Outside of work, Taylor enjoys Portland’s independent movie theaters, traversing the Oregon backcountry, kayaking, and Nordic and downhill skiing.
