Elizabeth Knight is a litigator with extensive experience in state and federal court. She is a member of Dunn Carney’s Litigation Team, and her practice focuses on commercial litigation, natural resources issues, condemnation, and legal malpractice defense. Elizabeth also frequently serves as local counsel for out-of-state attorneys and clients. She has been recognized by Super Lawyers and Best Lawyers in the area of business litigation.

With every case she handles, Elizabeth strives to find creative solutions which lead to good results for her clients. She uses a holistic approach, balancing vigorous advocacy with measured, strategic litigation, consistent with the client’s goals.

Elizabeth is a member of Dunn Carney’s Executive Committee, the chair of Dunn Carney Cares (the firm’s private foundation), and a founding member of the IDEA Squad (the firm’s diversity and inclusion committee). For many years she also served as Dunn Carney’s Hiring Partner and the chair of Dunn Carney’s charitable giving and pro bono programs. Elizabeth previously served as President of the Campaign for Equal Justice Board of Directors and as Secretary and Treasurer of the Multnomah Bar Foundation Board of Directors. Elizabeth views pro bono work as part of her professional responsibility and was recognized by the Oregon State Bar for her countless hours of service with the 2015 President’s Public Service Award.
