Statement Regarding Racial Injustice

Among our efforts to build awareness, understanding, support and respect for differences among us in the firm, legal and business communities, and our own local communities, Dunn Carney has formed the:
- IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Advancement) Squad – A 15-member committee of attorneys, partners and staff, formed in 2018 to identify and improve in these areas as related the firm’s recruitment and retention of a more diverse workforce;
- RAT (Retention, Advancement, Training) Patrol – A team of partners and associates focused on mentoring and training of new attorneys; and
- DC LAW (Dunn Carney League of Attorney Women) – Women attorneys committed to recruiting, retaining and advancing women attorneys within the firm to partnership and leadership positions.
In addition, the firm has signed the Multnomah Bar Association Statement of Diversity Principles, a public acknowledgement of our commitment to develop the diversity within Oregon’s legal community.
