Kevin T. Sasse
Associate Attorney
Kevin is a member of Dunn Carney’s litigation team. Prior to joining Dunn Carney, Kevin spent three years practicing insurance recovery and litigation. From that experience, and as a former CPA and internal auditor for the State of Ohio, he knows the practical value of testing every assumption and scrutinizing the smallest details for their relevance and application.
Through his experiences externing at the Michigan Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and the Michigan Court of Appeals, and clerking for the Oregon Tax Court, he knows what litigation strategies are effective for a wide variety of cases, whether setting the stage for trial or pursuing relief on appeal.
Kevin graduated magna cum laude from Michigan State University College of Law, where he was a managing editor of the Journal of Business and Securities Law and a moot court board member.
Kevin believes that nothing can replace the work accomplished by local organizations. He has served on committees for the Multnomah Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section and serves on the Portland Opera Ambassador Board, where he helps build interest in the opera among young patrons. You will also see him volunteering his time to various organizations in the Portland metro area.
In his free time, Kevin enjoys climbing, mountaineering, and trail running. He is also a season subscriber to Portland Opera and Oregon Ballet Theatre.
