Kevin T. Sasse
Partner
Kevin is a versatile member of Dunn Carney’s litigation team, with experience in commercial, real estate, construction defect, insurance coverage, probate, and environmental litigation. As a former CPA and internal auditor for the State of Ohio, he knows the practical value of testing every assumption and scrutinizing the smallest details for their relevance and application.
During law school, Kevin externed at the Michigan Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and the Michigan Court of Appeals. After law school, Kevin clerked for the Oregon Tax Court. From these experiences, Kevin knows what litigation strategies are effective for a wide variety of cases, whether setting the stage for trial or pursuing relief on appeal.
Kevin believes that nothing can replace the work accomplished by local organizations. He serves on the ambassador board for CASA for Children, where he helps build awareness and fundraises for an organization devoted to supporting court appointed special advocates for children who have been abused or neglected. Kevin is the Chair of Dunn Carney’s Pro Bono Committee. You will also see him volunteering his time to various organizations in the Portland metro area.
In his free time, Kevin enjoys hiking and trail running. He is also a season subscriber to Portland Opera and Oregon Ballet Theatre.
