A Note from the Managing Partner:
Dunn Carney is sad to share the news that our long-time colleague, partner and friend, Marsha Murray-Lusby, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 24, 2019. A Celebration of Life was held on Tuesday, July 9, at Sunset Presbyterian Church.
Marsha was a talented and well respected attorney who led the firm’s Estate Planning and Administration Team for more than 20 years. She served on the firm’s Executive Committee, was a member of the Portland Estate Planning Council and had served as chair of the Oregon State Bar Estate Planning and Administration Executive Committee.
Marsha’s genuine interest in learning about her clients stands out to those who worked with her. She was able to accommodate clients’ unique family dynamics and help them ensure their wishes would be carried out while preserving their family relationships.
Most important to those of us who knew her, Marsha was a lively friend, mentor and resource. She had a great sense of humor and loved to share stories about life in Montana, her husband Russ Lusby, and achievements of her son Drew Lusby and daughter Rachel Lusby. Our condolences go out to all of them.
Dunn Carney is reaching out to Marsha’s clients directly to ensure that their legal needs are being met by a member of the Dunn Carney Estate Planning Group. If you have questions, please call 503-224-6440 and ask for Lois Pinster.
