Oregon State Bar Honors Dunn Carney Partner with Public Service Award

Partner Elizabeth Knight, who was honored for her commitment to pro bono work.

Elizabeth C. Knight, a partner in Dunn Carney’s Litigation Group and chair of the firm’s Charitable Giving Committee, has been named a recipient of the 2015 Oregon State Bar President’s Public Service Award.  The award, presented December 10, 2015 at the OSB Annual Awards Luncheon, honors attorneys for their commitment to public service and pro bono work.

Knight has a long-standing commitment to pro bono, representing low-income clients through legal aid’s Domestic Violence Project and Night Clinic, and also managing a pro bono initiative at Dunn Carney that facilitates pro bono work for firm lawyers.  She has for years volunteered for the Campaign for Equal Justice, and was elected vice president of the CEJ Board of Directors in 2015.

Knight has also served on many state bar committees throughout her career and currently serves on the Multnomah Bar Association’s Board of Directors.  At Dunn Carney she manages the firm’s charitable giving program and serves as the firm’s hiring partner.
