Gov. Tina Kotek has appointed Dunn Carney Partner Damien Hall as Co-chair of Oregon’s Housing Production Advisory Council (HPAC), a statewide group of development and land-use experts charged with developing a plan to build 36,000 homes per year in the state.
The HPAC brings robust experience in a broad set of disciplines and represents Oregon’s diverse demographics and geography.
“We had an incredible list of qualified Oregonians interested in serving on the Council, which reflects not only a shared concern about our housing crisis, but more importantly, the dedication to solve it,” Governor Kotek said. “I am grateful for their willingness to serve and look forward to their recommendations.”
The HPAC was created by executive order with the goal of easing the state’s housing crisis. The goal of building 36,000 housing units per years represents and 80 percent increase of current construction trends.
The council convenes for the first time on March 10. Learn more about the HPAC here. Find Damien’s bio here.
