Billing Specialist

Dunn Carney is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Law Firm Billing Specialist. The ideal candidate will have experience with legal billing software and a strong understanding of the legal billing process. If you are a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with experience in legal billing, we encourage you to apply for this position. The primary responsibilities of this position include:

  • Preparing and processing invoices for clients
  • Tracking and managing accounts receivable
  • Researching and resolving billing discrepancies
  • Communicating with clients and attorneys about billing matters
  • Maintaining and updating billing records
  • Provide back-up support in other areas in the Firm

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in legal billing
  • Strong understanding of legal billing software (prior Aderant experience a plus)
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to meet deadlines
