Anne Foster is an experienced trial lawyer and trusted business advisor. With a key focus on finding ways to protect her clients’ interests and avoid protracted litigation. Anne specializes in complicated business disputes, sticky employment situations, and catastrophic injury claims. She has successfully tried to verdict well over 50 cases in Oregon and Washington.

Anne gets results while providing personal attention to each of her clients. With every case, she takes the time to learn her client’s story, and dives deep when gathering details about both the client and the case at hand. Her clients share control and ownership throughout the litigation process, and she considers the client the most important member of the trial team.

Within the firm, Anne serves on the Executive Committee, leads both Team People (personal and professional litigation team) and the Healthcare Industry Team. She previously served as co-leader of the Litigation Team. Anne is also a member of the Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources Team and Healthcare Teams. She also founded and leads the firm’s task force dedicated to implementing practical solutions for better retention and advancement of new lawyers.

When not practicing law, Anne enjoys spending time with her two girls – both of whom are wholly unimpressed with their mom’s trial skills.

Defense Verdict– injuries totaling $420,000 as a result of injuries from a shade umbrella.

Defense Verdict– injuries totaling $500,000 as a result of a slip and fall.

Defense Verdict– property and lost profits claim against rental agency.

Defense Verdict-$500,000 12 person jury verdict award for defendants. Plaintiffs breached the contract relating to lease of dairy and defendants awarded $500,000 in lost profits.

Defense Settlement– Successful resolution for tea processor of claims arising from international recall of product.

$620,000 voluntary judgment against Riverview Community Bank for retaliation against one of its former employees who uncovered fraud at the bank. See articles in The Columbian, published June 10, 2014 and December 12, 2012.

$515,000 settlement of injuries from motor vehicle accident.

$500,000 seven-person verdict in federal court finding direct Coast-to-Coast liable for refusing to remove a false lien from an Oregon family cranberry farm.

$445,000 12-person jury verdict finding McKenzie  Willamette Medical Center improperly fired its employee surgeon for objecting to the hospitals interference in patient care.

$250,000 judgment against bus company, on behalf of bus passenger who suffered traumatic brain injury as a result of bus accident.

$250,000 settlement of injuries as a result of slip and fall.
