Dunn Carney is pleased to welcome three 2022 summer associates, Samantha Baker, Madeline Hailer and Isaiah Watson.
Madeline is a rising 3L at the University of Oregon. She received her bachelor’s degree in international studies and communication from the University of Wisconsin-Madison prior to attending law school. She recently served as a judicial extern for the United States District Court for the District of Oregon, and a legal intern for Legal Aid Services of Oregon Low Income Taxpayer Clinic.
Samantha is a rising 3L at Willamette University. She earned a bachelor’s degree in music business and a master’s degree in nonprofit management from Northeastern University. While in law school, Samantha has been a legal intern for the Unaccompanied Children Program with Immigration Counseling Service, as well as a legal intern for the National Center on Sexual Exploitation. This fall, she will be a legal extern at the Office of the Appellate Commissioner, as well as the Editor-in-Chief for the Willamette Journal of International Law and Dispute Resolution.
Isaiah is a rising 2L at the University of Oregon, and joins us as a Multnomah Bar Association fellow. He earned his bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Vanderbilt University. Prior to law school, Isaiah was a legal intern with Judge Olu Stevens of the 30th Judicial District in Jefferson County, Kentucky. He has volunteered with the International African American Museum in Charleston, South Carolina as well as a volunteer at the Harvest Hope Food Bank in recent years.
