Lauren J. Russell, a litigator with Dunn Carney LLP, has been selected as the Multnomah Bar Association’s 2019 Michael E. Haglund Pro Bono Award recipient in recognition of her exceptional pro bono service as a young lawyer. She was honored at the 2019 MBA Annual Meeting and Dinner in May.
“Lauren has demonstrated a particularly strong interest, dedication, and devotion to pro bono, and has taken on a leadership role with the Legal Aid Night Clinic and serves as co-chair of Dunn Carney’s Pro Bono Committee,” notes firm litigation partner Josh Stadtler, co-chair of the Pro Bono Committee and the 2015 recipient of the same MBA award.
Lauren is a member of Dunn Carney’s Litigation Group and the Personal and Professional Litigation Team. Her law practice focuses on employment-related matters, both plaintiff and defense, and commercial litigation. She clerked for the Oregon Department of Justice’s Appellate Division and externed for the Hon. Ann Aiken, then-Chief District Judge of the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon while earning her J.D. at University of Oregon School of Law.
