Jan. 20-Portland Human Resources Management Association (PHRMA) monthly luncheon. Tamsen Leachman is the luncheon speaker and her topic is Looking Back and Planning Ahead, Understanding Your Legal Risks and Challenges in 2010.
Jan. 27- Melissa Busley will be speaking at the Pearls of Wisdom seminar for the Agriculture Show at the Expo Center. She will be on a panel addressing business succession planning/exit strategies, retirement planning and long term care needs.
Feb. 11- Bill Joseph spoke at the monthly luncheon of the Homebuilders Association of Portland on Contracts--Dos, Don'ts and Musts.
Feb. 18-Construction Lien Seminar-John Chambers and Tim Hering will make the presentations on Lien basics, how bankruptcy, receiverships and FDIC takeovers affect lien claims, key differences between Oregon and Washington Lien Law and traps for the unwary.
Feb. 24-Employment Law Seminar-Best Practices in 2010--Employee Use and Abuse of Family and Medical Leave, Disability Accommodation Requests, and Injured Workers and Return to Work Issues. Tamsen Leachman and Kris Kennet of Aon Risk Services made the presentations.

April 21 - Eric Kekel is speaking at the Portland Construction Defect Law Seminar sposored by MC Consultants. His panel will address Indemnity Clauses in Subcontractor Agreements: Pros & Cons. Other panelists include Hon. Sr. Assoc. Justice Richard W. Riggs, Oregon Supreme Court; Andrew Burns, Cosgrave Vergeer & Kester; and Thomas Johnson, Vial Fotheringham.
