Kyle J. Stinchfield, Partner

 

Kyle's practice focuses on general corporate business matters and federal business and real estate tax matters.  His federal tax practice involves a broad range of business tax matters, with particular emphasis on the federal tax aspects of transactions involving corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies. He advises clients on the tax consequences of mergers and acquisitions, tax-free reorganizations, spin-offs and divestitures, restructurings, and operational tax planning, as well as the formation, operation and dissolution of corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies and joint ventures.  Kyle also assists the firm’s real estate clients with acquisition and development tax structuring issues, as well as IRC Section 1031 like-kind exchange matters.

 

Kyle’s general corporate business practice involves advising a wide variety of clients on entity selection, formation and operational issues, drafting and negotiating agreements and related documentation for the purchase or sale of businesses, shareholder agreements, employment agreements, and stock option plans.

 

Kyle is a member of the firm's  Corporate Counsel and Hospitality teams.
