Mary Anne Nash focuses her practice on environmental and natural resource law and general civil litigation. She advises clients on a broad range of natural resources issues ranging from federal Endangered Species Act issues to National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliance to water law. She also has experience working on environmental cleanup and compliance cases.
Mary Anne is a regular contributor the Dunn Carney’s Natural Resources Updates, a Dunn Carney publication that addresses agriculture and natural resources news and legal developments. She is also a member of the Northwest Environmental Business Council (NEBC) as well as the Oregon State Bar Agriculture Law Section, Environmental and Natural Resources Section, and Energy, Telecom & Utility Law Section.
Mary Anne graduated Order of the Coif from the University of Oregon School of Law in 2010, where she was a fellow for the Environmental and Natural Resources Program and an associate editor of the Oregon Law Review. During law school, Mary Anne worked as an extern for the Honorable Thomas M. Coffin of the United States District Court for the District of Oregon. Mary Anne completed her undergraduate studies at Oregon State University, where she graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Environmental Economics, Policy, and Management and a minor in Natural Resources Law. While at OSU, Mary Anne worked as an intern for the House Resources Committee.
A native Oregonian, Mary Anne was raised on a cattle ranch in Central Oregon. In her spare time, Mary Anne likes to spend time with friends and family.
