John is a civil litigator and trial lawyer. John specializes in commercial and business litigation, real estate disputes, employment law, and tort defense. John is also a trusted business advisor to many local businesses and professionals. John has extensive experience in the state and federal courts of Oregon and Washington and has achieved many successful results for his clients. John treats his clients like family and fights hard to protect their interests.
John was born and raised in Portland and went to Lewis & Clark College for his undergraduate and law degrees. He was ranked #1 in his class in 2001-2003, earning the prestigious West Group Award for outstanding scholastic achievement. John enjoys volunteering his time to help children with the Friends of Doernbecher, coaching youth basketball, and spending time with his family and friends.
